Not every faulty carburettor needs to be fully replaced. Sometimes, the carburettor can be cleaned, serviced or rebuilt with a repair kit that enables you to replace small worn or damaged components.

Our carburettor repair kits are designed for STIHL-compatible carburettors, with options including Zama repair and rebuild kits. The exact contents vary by kit, carburettor and application, but a repair kit may contain small service components such as:

Repair Kit or Complete Carburettor?

A repair kit is the right option when the carburettor body and main components are still working well, but internal service parts have deteriorated.

However, a repair kit isn't appropriate for every fault. If the carburettor body is damaged, badly worn or otherwise beyond simple repair, replacing the carburettor is likely more suitable.
