Breakaway safety cable for braked trailers and caravans, supplied as a 1m length with hook & eye fittings. In the event of accidental decoupling, the cable applies the trailer handbrake to bring it to a safe stop.

Installation: Attach the eye end to the trailer handbrake lever and clip the hook to a suitable tether point on the tow vehicle (not around the towball unless using a designated eye). Check for free movement and avoid sharp bends. Inspect regularly and replace if damaged.
